Risk Management and Red Flags

Fraud is a significant risk for law firms due to the large sums of money, data and sensitive information they routinely manage.  

The ability to identify risks for fraud and use the firm’s wider fraud risk management strategy to effectively  prevent, manage and mitigate those risks is an important skillset for solicitors.  

This course will explore what risk is, how firms might measure and respond to risk, and introduces key concepts in risk identification and prevention. You will also gain insight into the red flags for fraud most relevant for legal practitioners, and how to deliver an effectively structured and planned response to fraud risk management, and much more.
