Nkechi Hokstad is a Managing Associate and Jersey transactional law expert based in Ogier’s London team.

She trained, qualified and practised as a finance lawyer with Clifford Chance before pivoting to UBS as an HR business partner covering their investment banking division.

Following her return to private legal practice, she has been:

• named a ‘Rising Star’ and ‘Leading Associate’ for offshore firms in London by Legal 500;
• selected as a finalist for the ‘Woman of the Year – Financial and Professional Services’ category for Property Week’s Inspiring Women in Property Awards; and
• named a Career Masterclass STRETCH List Awardee for showing exceptional leadership in promoting diversity, equity and inclusion in UK corporations.
