James is Head of Financial Services at Flex Legal, leading the team delivering lawyers, paralegals, trainees and apprentices into law firms and inhouse teams.

He has worked in alternative legal services for over a decade, starting the first fully integrated law firm flexible lawyer platform in the UK in 2011. He has led strategic legal operations projects for global organisations advising clients on legal resourcing, technology, outsourcing and target operating models across EMEA, APAC and US.  He led the launch of adhoc hourly consultant support models for clients, and the growth of company secretary and legal project management consultants for teams across the UK and EU.  He is passionate about creating opportunities for people to thrive in their careers and driving a more inclusive and diverse legal industry.
