Adam Tear is a consultant solicitor advocate at Scott Moncrieff & Associates. He specialises in general civil litigation, contempt of court, public law, immigration and inquiry work. Adam was awarded Solicitor Advocate of the Year 2014, following being a runner-up in 2013. He was again runner-up in 2015 and 2016. He has been shortlisted for the 2017 award. He was also nominated for Human Rights Lawyer of the Year 2016. 

Adam is the Chief Assessor of Immigration and Asylum Law for the Law Society. Adam sits as a Deputy District Judge, with tickets in general civil, chancery, insolvency, public and private family law.
