Supervision

A positive culture within a firm plays a pivotal role in managing risk, supporting staff wellbeing, and, ultimately, protecting clients. Supervision plays a crucial role in workplace culture and, as such, is a fundamental concept in the SRA Codes of Conduct and the focus of SRA guidance, although the regulator leaves firms to decide what supervision looks like for them.

So how should firms supervise their lawyers and employees? What is effective supervision and what systems and structures can support it? How can firms evidence those systems and processes?

Written by Fiona du Feu, a solicitor and experienced Lexcel Legal Practice Quality Mark assessor and consultant, this course will provide all supervisors and people managers with what you need to know to demonstrate compliance in practice.

Whether you are new to the role, wish to progress into junior management roles or already hold a supervisor post in a Lexcel-accredited firm, you can be confident that the training will cover all you need to know.
