Alison is a family law solicitor specialising in domestic and international children law. She has a particular interest in domestic abuse, forced marriage, so-called ‘honour’ based violence and female genital mutilation (FGM) issues. Alison is a Resolution-accredited specialist in forced marriage and honour-based violence, domestic abuse, public and private law children and holds the Law Society’s Family Law Advanced Accreditation in violence in the home and private law children.  She is highly rated in independent directories Chambers and Partners, the Legal 500 and Doyles Guide.

Alison was named Family Lawyer of the Year at the British Family Law Awards 2024. She was also highly commended as Female Trailblazer of the Year at the Modern Law Awards 2024 and Family Law Partner of the Year at the Family Law Awards 2023. In 2022, Alison was shortlisted for Family Law Partner of the Year at the Family Law Awards and Family Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year at the Legal Aid Practitioner’s Group Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Awards.
