Emma’s credentials

Emma is a Partner and Patent Attorney at Mewburn Ellis, working across all stages of the IP lifecycle, from drafting and prosecuting patents to managing offensive and defensive opposition proceedings at the European Patent Office. She is particularly experienced in the fields of computer implemented inventions, and optics and photonics. She regularly works with start-up companies to build and manage their patent portfolios, as well as advising clients on freedom to operate and infringement issues. 

She joined Mewburn Ellis LLP in 2009, qualifying as a Chartered Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney in 2013. She joined the partnership in 2017.
