Working with Vulnerable Clients

Vulnerable clients are those at a higher risk of harm from themselves and/or others, in comparison to clients who are not deemed to be vulnerable.

With a focus on adult vulnerable clients, through easy-to-understand chapters, this course will equip practitioners with practical strategies to recognise, assess and manage these increased risks across a range of different vulnerabilities – such as personal characteristics affecting communication, or situations which can throw up barriers for clients. It will also explore how the life-changing or acutely stressful nature of legal issues themselves can create a vulnerability.

Underpinned by good practice guidance for the legal sector, this course also takes you through key points to keep in mind when considering adopting a firm-wide approach for clients with vulnerabilities. Enrol now!
