Talia Greenbaum (LLB, FCA, CEDR accredited mediator) is a tax partner at BDO LLP, in the tax dispute resolution team in London, and leads the tax mediation services.

Talia’s expertise lie in supporting High/Ultra High Net Worth individuals, trustees, executors, and large-/medium-sized corporates with their historic tax issues and irregularities – developing a roadmap to arrive at a final settlement with HMRC. Talia uses her negotiating skills to identify alternative solutions and encourages collaboration between all parties to navigate complex issues to successful resolution.

Talia also supports clients on highly sensitive matters when tax fraud is suspected or admitted. In these cases, Talia offers the necessary robust and pragmatic approach to effectively identify key issues and risks and to constructively conclude matters with the authorities.

Talia also works with charity boards to advise on governance matters.

Talia sits on the HMRC Dispute Resolution Committee and helps shape HMRC policy in the area of alternative dispute resolution in tax.
