Building Safety Act 2022: 2025 Updated Training

Implementation of the Building Safety Act (BSA) 2022 is happening apace, with the Supreme Court judgement of 21 May 2025 in URS Corporation Ltd v BDW Training Ltd [2025] UKSC 21 being viewed as a milestone judgment by sector specialists.  

In addition, the Court of Appeal’s consecutive decisions in Adriatic Land 5 Limited v Long Leaseholders of Hippersley Point  [2025] EWCA Civ 856 and Stratford Village Development Partnership v Triathlon Homes LLP [2025] EWCA Civ 846 have provided much needed clarity in relation to the retrospectivity of the service charge protections under BSA 2022 and the extent of remediation contribution orders.
