In this course, training is given on the following areas of estate administration:

  • the advantages and disadvantages of nil rate band discretionary trusts in wills, and how to wind up unwanted ones
  • the requirements for a valid post-death variation, and what can and cannot be done by varying the disposition of an estate
  • the statutory provisions allowing the removal of personal representatives
