Clare Hurst is a solicitor of over 15 years’ qualification, having specialised in the area of Asylum and Immigration Law since 2002.
Clare is currently deputy centre director at North East Law Centre and has extensive experience of legal aid and innovative grant funded projects around free immigration advice delivery focusing on more holistic legal advice provision for asylum seekers, refugees and migrants.
Clare is passionate about access to justice, with a particular interest in the rights of women, and continues to participate in local and national research to promote change in the sector.
Clare is accredited at Level 2 as a Senior Caseworker and Supervisor under the IAAS scheme.
