Instructions for the paper:
The exam consists for 5 parts, 13 Questions in total. You must answer all questions. Details of each question are contained in the section marked Qi.
You do not need to answer the questions sequentially. When moving between questions, you must use the “next screen” button at the bottom of the page. Do not use the back button on your browser.
Answers to the questions must be inserted in the text box following the question.
Professional conduct is a pervasive topic in this examination. There is also a compulsory professional conduct question.
At the end of the examination you will be able to review and change your answers prior to submitting. Once you have submitted your answers, you will not be able to change your answers.
To pass this examination, you must obtain at least 50% of the marks (subject to me meeting the professional conduct requirement).
Supervising Senior Caseworkers can have conduct of all matters and have responsibilities for:
- supervision of up to four supervisees;
- supervision and training of Casework Assistants and Trainees, including allocating tasks appropriately in terms of capability, capacity and progress towards accreditation as a Senior Caseworker;
- supervision and training of Senior Caseworkers;
- allocation of matters to Senior Caseworkers, including to themselves.

The expected standards are designed to reflect the issues encountered by practitioners and ensure that accredited members are able to deliver good quality advice and representation.
Candidates have 3 hours and 45 minutes to complete the examination, which consists of 100 marks separated into 5 parts. In order to pass the examination you must achieve a mark of at least 50%. If your time expires the examination will submit automatically.
